Hello ls1 from south georgia

Just saying hello to everyone.
I'm signed up as a new member BUT... I used to be a member here back in 1998 when I first purchased my new 98 WS6.
I STILL have it and still drive it a little.
When I joined back then, this site was sort of new and like a lot of things, over time I forgot my sign in and password and didn't do much about trying to get back on board.
At that time I also had a 1980 T/A that we bought new. Sorry to say but I sold it in 2006.
I just had to replace 2 tires in the bird today due to dry rot.
I know, I know, that's shameful.
I need to drive it more and plan to since I don't want to buy more tires until they are worn out not dried out.
I replace the other 2 tires last year for dry rot so they are all good to go now.
I forgot how MUCH MONEY these tires cost. WOW!!!!
We just turned 72,000 miles on the bird this week. Still in good shape and runs like new.
I do need to replace the "Trans Am" and bird decals on the rear panel between the tail light assy's.
They used to be available on this site best I remember. Hope they still are.
OK, I'll move on for now.
