True Torch red- 1967 Firebird
Hello Everyone!
I have completly restored and just painted my '67 firebird and its bad ass! Ill post a pic as soon as I learn how. Now I need an engine I'm going to need some help here guys/gals. I want a late model LSX for its fuel economy performance and reliability with around 400hp. My struggle is with finding year make and model best suited for my application. Iv'e been looking on ebay and have seen some nice engines but before I hit "buy it now" I need some education. At first I was going for the Vette but it has a rear transmision/transaxel and that definatly wont fit. So now Im leening towards a GTO. Do I just buy the engine with the ecm and just give it power and fuel? I know it cant be that easy, so what modifications will i need to make to my bad ass bird? Electrical/mechanical/structural? I understand that I will need a conversion kit once I make the purchase.
Any advice would help!
Thanks

Welcome to the site! Make sure you post some pics in our Classic Muscle section as well, please.
Here's what you do:
1. Open a free account at http://www.photobucket.com ;
2. Upload the pics from your computer to your album on Photobucket;
3. Click the "Save" button after the upload is complete;
4. From your album page in Photobucket, run your mouse over the pic you want to post and some codes will appear beneath it;
5. Left click on the line that contains the [IMG] code and you will see a notation appear that reads "Copied";
6. Return to this site and in the box you are posting your message or reply in, right click your mouse and select "Paste";
7. The [IMG] code will appear in your post and when you "Submit Reply" the picture should then appear; and,
8. You can always use the "preview Post" feature to ensure that you have done it correctly before submitting your reply.
