Navy blue- 2000 Pontiac Firehawk
Hello all,
This is my first posting and my first question. I have a 2k firehawk 84k miles and have an issue with my Trans in that it will not completely engage fifth gear. Shifting is good although this started with hard downshifts into fifth. I had the Castrol Syntec lube option installed at the SLP factory. I understand that the older T56 six speeds had syncros issues with fifth and sixth gear but I have not been able to confirm this issue with my year. Any insight is appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to the site! You may want to post up your question in the Manual Transmission section of the forum... or a mod may move a copy of this post there for you. Either way, good luck and hope you find a fix.
