Navy Blue Metallic- 1999 Firebird Formula
Hello Again...
Hey-lo Everybody,
Wow, it's been so long since I last posted here that the forum doesn't think I've ever posted at all, and my join date should predate the car. Oh well, I'm sure I had at least 500 posts back in the day, but seems I get to start fresh all over again!
Here's my ride:
Yeah, I live in Minnesota. Why do you ask?
1999 Formula. The ol' girl is very close to the 150K mark. Forgiving the night above where she just plain refused to get up the driveway and I ended up leaving her out in the cold, I usually baby her. As evidence of that, I'm only just now thinking the brake pads are getting close to needing replacement. That's actually what brought me back here - research on brakes and such.
Anyways, just thought I'd drop in and reintroduce myself... Any old, old, old timers still around?

G'day and welcome.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Haha, yeah, the handle was a high school nickname. I picked it before it was a universal Internet insult - back in the olden days, before people widely began Surfing the Intarweb Speedways. This is one of the only forums I still use that nickname on.
I could do some trolling though if it'd make you all happy. I'm pretty sure I remember some of the verboten topics of old here.

Back when I was searching for brake pads the majority said to use Hawk's. I bought front and back, but never put the backs on. Car is totaled now. I still have them new in the box. Let me know if you are interested.
