    Hello!

    Hi folks,
My sister actually owns the '98 T/A, and since she is now single I will be lending a helping hand to keep her car in good shape, as it is her daily driver. It runs well, but with 197K miles,(!) it is starting to need this and that. It's bone stock, A4, 3.23:1 axle. About 20K miles back, it ran an easy 14.02 / 102 at LACR in Palmdale, Ca, which is around 2400 feet elevation. My first job on it will be to replace the trans mount, and I was thinking about going witn an Energy Suspension part. Any advice or comment? Thanks for any input!

Yes, go with the energy suspension mount. I wouldn't wait very long,
especially if your sister is driving it! Have a great day.......legalspeed.

    Talking '98 TA Trans Mount

Energy Suspension does not make a mount for this car, and they advise against using their 'generic' (GM RWD) mount. Any other alternatives? My local GM parts dealer wants $120 for one, and the parts houses (Autozone, etc) do not carry it.

    Cool Suggestions for Burnout 91

    Burnout91:

The car needs to be fixed, so get your sister to pay for the part,
and then you work on the car.
This seems to be a fair trade-off, as there are no other options
available. Sounds like youv'e done your research well, and your
sister will appreciate her well running trans am!
