    hello

    hello ls1 community. i am new to the site. does anyone know how to reactivate the security system on a 2002 trans am, ls1, 6 speed?

    i had a new ignition put in and i think it needs reprogramming. Do you think it could be reprogrammed with a diagnostic tester?

    also im looking for a aftermarket fuel pump for a ls1 '02 trans am. the whole assembly. if anyone knows of one for sale please notify me.

    Welcome to the site! Not sure what you mean -- are you talking about the VATS and the key chip not being compatible?

    im really not sure myself. i put the key in and the security light began to flash and it wont allow me to start the vehicle.

    Sounds like a VATS issue. Knight posted a link in your other thread to the probable answer. Check it out and post up if you have more questions.

    I would take a look at the Racetronix setup. GM High Tech Performance featured an install article on one maybe last year. It is a real neat unit that fits in your factory fuel bucket with minimal mods.
