G'day and welcome. Nice to see another heavy modded 99 WS6 on the site.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

well i was looking into running a supercharger and go with a even bigger cam ( i just like the sound of the heavy lope) other than that i may be pretty good for now other than a few exterior mods. Im thinking about selling my fikse fm5 wheels and going with some chrome.

LOL... No big deal at all man! You put a lot of effort into that thing, I am glad it can beat the Z... I bought to Z so I can turn the key and be fast. The 98 Formula is for making faster and it will give the Z a run for the money, won't beat it just yet though.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Welcome! Mighty nice looking N2O setup you've got there. I'm interested to see what it'll run also.
You get the chance do both with and without nitrous runs and post times. I'm guessing that with the laughing gas it's gonna be faster than track will allow and you'll have to step up to a cage to be track legal.

i will be sure to post times, well i hope they dont say anything about me having to instal a cage cause that is out of the question. The wifey is getting me a new dynotune next month where i can place a switch box on the car to swap from a NOS tune to a tune for just motor by the flip of a switch.... gotta love her haha

You'll need a cage to run faster than 11.50 and a fire proof jacket to run the nitrous.
You'll need a Snell rated helmet to tech faster than 14's to start with.
You might want to check all the NHRA regulations if you haven't done so already.
And a happy 420 back at ya!Last edited by 67CamaroRSSS; 03-14-2010 at 12:45 PM.

well i'm pretty sure its faster than 11.5's on the spray but thats just an opinion, theres a track in clarksville, tnn where u can just run test and tune's and they just do a visual inspection but there are no requirements. They regulate them if your on a event race and racing for money or something ( i just got that info from a buddy of mine that takes his car to the track)

From the setup you've described I'm guessing it'll run 11.50's on motor alone (depending on DA) with the right tires (slicks?).
I didn't see sub-frame connectors among the items you listed. If you don't have any on I'd suggest a set of weld-in type. Otherwise the torque wil twist the car into a pretzel over time. And they'll help keep the T-tops from leaking.
An anecdote: A fellow car club member purchased a 2000 Z28 new with the intentions of racing it. After heads, cam, intake and a healthy shot of N2O he had a low 11 second car. 50k miles later he decides to install SFC's. The left side went on fine. I had to make a 1/2" thick spacer for the right side in the rear (by the trailing arm mount) due to the body having been repeatedly twisted from hard launches.

Thanks for the info man, the car does actually have sfc's installed, and they are the weld in type. i just forgot to list em.
