Haaaaaayyyyy
I’m Carl from Ohio, wanted to say hi. I bought a 99 SS last year and have had a ton of fun wrenching on it and driving it. I took it to the shootout last year and even though I lost a t-top on my first past I had a killer time. When I bought it the car had 4.10s, zo6 wheels, hooker Lt's, and a centerforce clutch. I did some much needed maintenance on the car and put SS brake lines, c6 calipers, kyb struts and strano springs, umi panhard bar and control arms and some new seats in it. I really like the car and enjoy driving it and working on it. Here are some pics and a video I made of when I went to the shootout. My video skills suck.

Welcome to the site. What the hell is wrong with the MPH count on two of those runs?
If your running 260 MPH and low 13's, your doing something wrong

Thanks. My fastest pass was a 13.1@108. I need some drag radials bad but my 10 bolt isnt really feeling that. After runing the car at the shootout the rear end has developed a noise that is going to require some attention in the very near future. haha. Nice to meet you, did you do all the work on your car?
I saw that on my slip and was like "wtf?". I think we got like 4 passes and my mph was like 107 and 108. Thanks.

For sure! Don't do the drag radials without some serious rear end work. Rebuilt mine due to blowing out the carrier first time then the gears the second time. Switched bake to streets until I got the rear end setup to handle the power.

I did read your build thread, sucks about the water pump. But thats not a big deal. I know what you mean about having to wait for the weather to break. I have a rack in my garage and my brothers car is stuck on it until he gets his heads back. So my shit is sitting outside.
