    Greetings youngsters!

Just joined today as tomorrow Ive got an interesting choice to make. When I worked as a Detective for my department we were issued seized narcotics vehicles for our narcotics operations and surveillance. I lucked out and got a very nice red 2000 Camaro SS, I loved that car, got into a couple of pursuits with it, no problem. Now Im an old crusty retiree and tomorrow Im off to look at two cars and Im going to buy one of them.
Car #1 is a 2002 35th Anniversary edition that has custom stickers on the windows and a blinged out license plate and generally looks like its been around the block a few times. Odometer is at 51,000 This one is not the limited edition just standard SS
Car #2 is a 2001 Camaro SS with the SLP package, Pewter and Beige, one owner, a couple that are actually my age, 65000 miles but its loaded with options with no aftermarket mods (which gives me fun things to do) Car is extremely clean.

There is $900 difference in price for the two, whats your opinions, which is more desireable?

    Thanks guys!

    Welcome to the site!

For me it would be which ever was the cleaner of the two cars if everything else is equal. Of course there are some things that I looked specifically when I wanted to pick up a Camaro such as it had to be a 6 speed (personal preference).

I would buy the pewter camaro.
    I've owned 2 LS1 Z28 camaros, My first I bought from a
retired GM worker. I think he was 68. I never had a problem
with the car. My next camaro I bought from a guy in his mid
twenties & I had several problems with it.
I bet you'll be happy with either car though.

Pewter wins, as soon as their garage door opened I knew I was in trouble, driven by a middle age lady who babied it with Castrol GTX oil,,,new tires,,,so I joined the land of the Pewter SS club!
