Another new memeber. Picked up a 99 SS vert w/ M6 last year (1 owner car), had a 95 Z28 vert w/A4...totaled also a 71 RS M4 during high schol and a 71 camaro 6 cylinder as first car So you can see the red bowtie is in my blood. I kept seeing other websites refer to this site for better details on the car. Look forward to advise and info to keep my first LS1 in proper running order. Car is daily driver in Orlando, Florida. Travel beeline and I-4 every day and it has become a chore with a M6 with the traffic as bad as it is these days. Today the President was in town and they shut down the beeline so it was 10 miles of clutch in and clutch out!

...a lid is a good start for a 100 bucks/ 10 horse and a lil more sound

Sounds good, thought SLP charged more than that. Also wondered about cold air option but didn't think it mattered with the scoop already on.

think there down to about a 100 just about everywhere..even saw one for 89 before....mti's clear whisper lid looks sweet..had that on my 99z ..lpe's carbon fiber one looks nice as well but i think its like 199...when your ready to spend a lil more its exhaust time

borla and corsa are both real nice..i love my borla
