Finally a Camaro owner!
I have been a member of this site for a while but never posted since I haven't had a Camaro but I finally got one Tuesday night. It's a 1999 Z28. I looked for months to find the right one and I finally found one. I wanted T-tops and would have liked to get a 6 speed but I can deal with an auto. I got a hell of a deal on this one. The car just turned over 60,500 miles. Interior is really clean and it runs awesome. Completely stock. The exterior is in pretty decent shape.. has a few scratches but I think they will all come out. It also has the usual flaws in the roof clear coat. Already had to replace both front turn signal bulbs and the passenger window motor is soon to be on its last leg. lol. I haven't had a chance to clean it yet.. I've been out enjoying it since we've been having good weather here in Indiana.. but its in the garage now for the next few days to get detailed. Well here are some pics of my new baby!

Thanks guys.
I live between Muncie and Anderson.. (Daleville)
The first thing I'll be doing is tint. But my first performance mod is going to be lid and GMMG exhaust.. but I don't really plan on doing too much to it. I will be eventually getting Kooks header with a catted Y and maybe a few other bolt-ons and a tune.

Welcome! Clean ride you got there. And welcome to the fun of owning a black car, lol.
Check out the tech section for help with that window motor. In the mean time, only lower/raise one window at time and make sure the motor is running when you do it. There's also a window fix that you purchase too!

Nice going Josh. I'm sure you will have some good times with your new ride.
I wouldn't necessarily be down on the auto trans. I also had primarily stick cars my entire life until I got my WS6 auto. You can get a lot of enjoyment out of the auto if you do a slight change to the rear end ratio. Ask around on this forum but I'm guessing a 3.73 rear ratio would wake it up and give you more response for every day driving.
You might just change your mind once you're dialed in. Took me a while to adjust and I'm happy now with no clutch. In a lot of situations the auto trans will also be easier on your rear diff. By the way, my 3.23 ratio turns the motor over 2500 rpms at 80 mph.Magnaflow Quad Tip, Lid, SBellow

Nice looking black car, Josh. From a fellow black F-body owner and Hoosier. I drove mine yesterday, but snow today so she'll be asleep for a week or so now. Hard to keep the black ones clean! I like that cloth interior, I wish my car had it. It doesn't age badly like the ''leather'' in Trans Ams, and is usually comfortable to sit on, hot or cold. And a lot of people put a stall in their AT cars and really love them then!

Yeah maybe I'll have to look into the 3.73. I just can't stand how it "dogs" when you stomp on it cruising at like 40-45mph. I say dogs but its still fast.. just not like any other range of mph. lol. But after i get a few bolt ons on maybe it will wake it up. Don't get me wrong it is still fast in stock form but I'm sure I'm in for some fun.

Thanks! Im definitly getting used to the cloth seats. When I first got it I was searching hard for some leather trans am seats or even Camaro seats but I've stopped.. I like the cloth.
