    A different kind of hybrid?

    Hello all,

    I'm in GA, coming from the BMW world via Toyotaland. I drive a '93 3-series, and recently picked up an '88 FJ62 LandCruiser with a bad transmission. Once she's up and running for a while I'll be planning an LS1 transplant. So, I joined up here to get to learnin'.

    My swap is probably 3-4 years away (schoolin' and such), but I'm already looking forward to it.

    Howdy, neighbor! There's a few folks here that have put LSXes into non LS vehicles. So you can get some info on that here. I envy those of you with the skills and equipment to do that kind of thing yourselves...
