TBD- 1962 Chevy II, 1928 Ford
Converted
I am looking to learn more about LS1 motors, and a friend said I might try this sight as there's tons of great info. I currently have a '62' Chevy II that I'm trying to get down into the 10s, but want to have some reliability and be able to drive it anywhere. My brother says, why not drop in an LS1?
Trying to have a 60s look, so any way that I can make the LS1 look older would be great. I'm thinking about 600hp iron short block with aluminium heads, and a "streetablez" cam. Any thoughts on how I might get where I'm going, articles to read, etc.? Thanks for having me in the forum. Matt

welcome
welcome to the site, there is alot of aftermarket for the ls engines. you can put a carbed intake on em and that makes them look a little more retro. i also think you can run a distributor on them as well. any way good luck with your project and ask all the questions you want there is a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge. oh ye post up some pics of the project we would love to see it.
