Feels good to be a member here. I have been a GM fan of these legendary cars since I acquired my license in the mid 80's when performance included exhaust swaps, intake manifold & cylinder head matching plus Stage Whatever chips. Big tires and the hot chicks go well too!
So far all of you have some awesome rides with interesting bolt ons and upgrades. I'm never gonna sell this LS1 therefore the performance will come gradually. Quoted for truth..."Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?" Looks like all of you have broken bank accounts to achieve more power, I can see it's addicting.
I need to up the mileage eventually . I don't think the LS1 is broken in yet?
Im including extra pics plus my past Third Gens. Lookin forward to spend much time in the Tech areas as well as Appearance. See ya there!

Yes, no tags yet. I contacted Grundy Insurance and was kinda pissed that I HAVE to own a newer vehicle to insure my 2002, income discrimination?. The agent said that if my daily driver (I have 3 daily drivers wtf) broke down for some reason, this would affect the policy stipulation that I'd be using the SS for worse therefore I was denied the application and never heard from them again. I don't know whether to stick with Progressive Insurance and swap plates with the '88 0r '96 til it's time to stash it in the winter but I'm hella anxious to take it out for a cruise very soon. I'm checking with State Farm for their lower rates & multi car discount. Heard about Hagerty Insurance, might be worth looking into.

did my insurance yesterday (AllState). since i only drive it a few times a month, they labeled it a 'pleasure vehicle'. rate dropped drastically.

Clean is right. I take care of it like a fanatic!
Exhaust? I was thinking the same exact thing when I took it out for the first time and not too impressed with the current SLP stock setup. Sounds quieter than my 3 inch catback Gale Banks exhaust on the '83 T/A.
I am expecting a large tax refund before May and will go with GMMG. The headers, which are always in debate, will come as a packaged recipe along with intake, heads & cam choice.
With GMMG, I feel I do not have to use a tuner to adjust for WOT right? The roaring sound is perfect so far.

You could just do a mail order tune. They are pretty cheap.
I haven't heard a GMMG yet, I hear they sound good. I like my magnaflow. It's ok.
I heard a Corsa on a C5. From inside the car it sounds really good but really pricey.
Checkout ls1sounds to listen to a few exhausts. Also try youtube.
If you do full exhaust, do x-pipe and spiralflows!

GMMG video. Love the sound but price is a different story!
I know these Camaros are modded to the max here but I'm interested for sure.
