Anybody from Seattle area??
Hello, I am brand spanking new to this whole "Forum Thing" and I've been reading alot and there are some very smart people on here with a lot of good information. So my question to everyone is, is there anybody from the seattle area? And the reason is I have owned my car for two years now and have not done anything to it yet.
But that is about to change when I get back from deployment in March. I am going to replace the headers, cats, and i'm going true dual (Kooks LT, SLP High Flow Cats, and don't know which company i'm going with for the X pipe, but i'm going with Edelbrock 304 SS mufflers, with some 3" slant cut flowmaster tips). The question I need answered is where in the Northwest should I take my car to get the exhaust done??? I mean out here everything is all "Rice Burner" oriented and there are alot of Mustang shops (and I obviously don't want be a traitor, haha), but I haven't seen anything that specializes in F-Body cars. Oh also should I go with wideband O2 Sensors?? and I am going to replace the spark plug wires with Granetelli, but which is the best Spark Plug?? I was thinking Bosch Platinum 4's but I can't make up my mind.
I'm also upgrading the whole intake system with a 90mm F.A.S.T LSX Intake Manifold, and a 90mm Nick Williams Throttle Body, and a K&N Cold Air Intake, with a throttle body spacer, and a SLP High flow Bellow. With all these mods complete, I will obviously get a nice professional tune, but should I also get a MAF sensor, if so which is the best?? Once again, I need a shop that mostly specializes in F-Bodies, or someone who at least knows what they are doing with my Trans Am.
Is there any recommendations, or success stories out there?? I am willing to consider anything from Portland to Seattle. Please help a fellow enthusiast out . . . thanks alot!!
VR,
Jay

Ok nevermind . . . I did my homework and found a badass shop in Seattle car CarNutz and they quoted me like $400 to install headers and exhaust which is pretty good, so I think i'll make them do all of my other mods too!!
