    in afgan finally seeing the light

    Born in Indiana stationed in Camp Lejuene now deployed in Afgan. I have a built SR20DET in a 240sx and now I am contemplating an old E30 with an LS1 or LQ9. I love my nissan but....it just doesn't have that umph. had a 1989 firebird at one time with a tpi350 and 5spd and i miss having that v8 under the hood....the sound and the feeling. I think it's time for something different and the ls series is the only way to go. Modulars just don't deliever and dodge doesn't make anything. I have always had a spot in my heart for chevy so when i get back i'm going to act on it. i joined ls1.com to get more info on the ls1 and see what guys are doing with them.
