advice to newb to put lq9 in '51 dodge p/u

new to the efi thing, i got an '03 6.0 ltr lq9 w/50k off ebay for $2000. hope i didn't pay too much, but too late now! picking it up tomorrow! any way it comes with the harness, all accessories, and the computer. i'm hopeing i can snag the electronic throttle but not sure if it is as simple as unbolting it and mounting it in my '51? also am assuming i would be cheapest to send off computer to remove vats and emissions? any way, any advice would be welcome. if i should try to get anything else from the escalade let me know. i already have a 400 turbo (escalade is 4x4 and assumeing it too costly to convert tailshaft ) got a ford 9" narrowed (prostreet) and a diplomat ifs frontend (hope the truck oilpan clears the drag link). i'll stop now so i don't bore anyone w/specifics. thanks for any help-nate

get with FROST from the computer and tuning section he is the man on your computer and such questions.
