    Cool 2K TA in CA

Hello all. I joined up to learn about modding my 2K. I have added a few goodies already and plan to do more. Since gas and tires are free, LOL, I'm here to learn how to disable the electronic traction device. I want to do some burnouts and other questionable driving manuvers to be video taped for my personal website.

Since I do not have a traction control button, I realize I will have to dig in a bit. Hopefully I will learn all about that and much more here.

If you don't have a TC button then you don't have TC. What electronic traction control devise are you talking about?

Even tho I dont have the button, when I get on it and the wheels start to spin the gas pedal comes out on its own, engine power is reduced, and I get a light on the dash. I'm pretty sure the dash light says TCS. I'll have to look again.

This brings much confusion when everybody says I dont have TCS because I dont have a button.

now, im not trying to insult ur intelligence right now... but fyi, (just in case u didnt know...) the switch would probly say ASR (acceleration slip regulation) instead of TCS, so maybe thats why u dont see it?

Nice try but thats not it. I wish you were right. There must be others with this issue. The service guy at the dealer said they made a bunch this way. I'm still in search of answers.
