2002 SOM SS #274 Checking in

Hey guys. I am Andrew. I'm a 2002 Camaro SS owner. I'm on ls1tech and a few other forums, but found this site to be a little more active so I thought I'd join, as I've been a lurker for months. While the car is 12 years old, everything is very new to me so I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

I formerly owned a few old 911's, three Mazda Rx7's, and recently a 2010 Shelby GT500 with around 540 rwhp. I sold the GT500 for a 4x4 truck. Then picked up my Camaro to restore back to it's former glory. Eventually it will be a street/strip car. It's an A4 so no road racing. For now it's a project of getting it back into daily driver shape. The motor, suspension, and transmission are in perfect shape. It's been driven and fairly well cared for but needs a lot of TLC. All stock down to the paper filter.

Off the top of my head it needs wheel bearings, brakes, tires, wheels, paint, carpet, seat covers, radio, door speakers, so yeah basically everything. I will say, out of all the cars I've owned, it is the most fun street car I've had. Regardless of it's issues, I'm in love.

No more street racing for me, just a car to restore and drive. When it's back to excellent shape I'll get into modding it and use it as a mild drag strip car.

We often have members parting out their cars. Keep your eyes on the Parts for sale section for interior parts. Parts For Sale / Trade

There are some good used parts to be found on ebay as well.
