    2000 SS #21 is mine!!

    Hey everyone. New to the LS1 world. I've been collecting and restoring 60's and 70's muscle cars all my life (I'm old, mid 40's...lol) but always have been a Camaro fan. Restored a 69 Pace Car, 69 Z28, 69 L78 Camaro and a LS6 Chevelle. Fun to have, pound and show but not real comfortable or efficient. Recently had the bug for another convertible with a stick. Looked a couple IROC's, but were not up to my standards (read junk), then there's the problem of the weak T5 that you can't get behind a 5.7 or very rare behind a 5.0 TPI and really nice ones are big bucks. Soooo what's a guy to do without refinancing the house? Ah, unmolested, unmodded 2000 SS convertible LS1 T56 3.42 gears, triple black, leather 32k miles for a lot less than what a newish Impala sells for, and found it 15 miles from home no less. All the cool hardwardware the old muscle cars could only wish for. This thing is awesome, runs great and just rough enough around the edges to give me some fun detailing it to death to make it mine. Just ordered the Zaino kit due to all the positive feedback about it. Thanks for a great site with tons of great info. Will be hanging out. Hope this gets posted to the right place...
