1998 Z28 w/94K miles for $5K is it worth it?

I am new to the LS-1 camaros. I am looking at a 1998 Z28, T-tops,
leather, 6spd with 94K miles. The car has Z06 wheels. I know the drivers side carpet is
tore, the AC is currently not working and the car has no cats. I have been told I can
purchase this car for $5K. I am trying to figure out if this is worth the money. I am going
to be driving it everyday and plan to do no mods to it. What do you think?

as long as it runs straight, and it's in good shape, i'd say go for it. but you got to take into consideration how many times he's taken it to the track.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Thats the cheapest I've ever heard of an LS1 going for, that more in the price range of an LT1.

Provided the body and motor are in good shape, go for it. Things such as the interior and AC can be repaired/repaced later on for relatively cheap. As far as having no cats, thats not too big of a deal, just get a tune so that the check engine light goes out.
