    1 tonner ute from Australia

    Just wanted to say hello.
I have bought a 2004 Vz one tonner ute. Had it for a few months. Had a 2.5inch dual cat bac exhaust fitted, bought a otr intake for it and looking at getting some extractors, cats and a Comp cam. Some advice on what sought of cam would be best would be awesome. Looking for something really lumpy but plenty of grunt. Thinking of going for a Thumpr comp cam maybe? Or Xtreme energy Comp cam.

Also realisng that I may need to up the Diff gears.

    Welcome to the sight
You would get the best results by talking to the cam manufacture about what will work with what you have.
    You plan on headers?

Yeh do plan on getting headers. We call them extractors over in Aus. Cheers for that bro.
I will upload some pictures ASAP.
Yeh man the utes over here are alot more sporty?.. I suppose compared to the US pickups. I have got a one tonner which has a flat tray on the back. They don,t make those anymore. Previously owned a 2008 VE SS. Which is the same as the USA's pontiac ute/pickup. Pretty popular over here.

What sought of ute were you thinking of importing?

    G'day and welcome.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

I would love to import an SS. It's not really worth the money it would cost to have imported, but I can dream...
