    Talking 05 sierra denali

Hey every one, I'm very new to these forums. There very interesting and filled with great info. I live in Vancouver Wa and just bought my first GMC. Been a GM fan for a while now and just got in to working on cars and engines in the passed few years, but I have learned a lot. The gmc I just got is a 05 sierra denali crew cab 1500. I have read alittle about the engine, I know its a 6L LQ9 all stock. The truck had some after market pips on it, so it sounds awsome... first few mods I was thinking about was a cold air intake, and maybe even some headers. Definitely get a programmer chip, that thing is a gas hogg. I am putting 92octane in, and useing synthetic oil. Changed most of the fluids right when I got it. Any recommendations for upgrads our things I should look out for with this truck, our engine. Haven't looked in the what tranny it has yet.

Nice, ya that's were I go aswell. Also sand lake just cause its closer. Haven't really done much to it yet, just picked up a cherry bomb for it and shaved the fenders. Its the specal edition so it all black. Looks pretty bad ass! I had a few knee surgerys this passed year, so haven't done much riding. Did make it dunn fest, barley road at all just got trashed.... what about ur YFZ?

Dunn fest in every year in August at winchester bay. Its sweet, thousands off people camping and riding everywhere at all hours, its like a week long party with a bunch of events. U should look it up. Ur YFZ is EFI right? What did the new jets do for you? I haven't done much trail riding other then what's at the dunns. But I bet its fun.

Cool maybe il make it next yr. No mines an 06, they didn't haves EFI till 08-09

Changing the jets helped a ton, just changes the fuel mixture and throttle response
