i just want to say hello to everyone. I am a disabled vet from the Army. i have an 02 Z28 that I am dying to start playing with. I wanted to wait intill i hit 100k before I started playing with it. Im their and now the fun begins. Does anyone have any ideas were i should beging and why. (I am getting ready to replace the transmission...I worked it a little to hard beating this guys suped up civic the other day... it will be costly i hear but to see his face after i won was worth it!) speaking of transmission parts what is the best clutch system to buy. My goal is 500+ horsepower when im done.

i dont care for bottles i want to do it old school. maybe a blower but i really want to turn it up....this will be my test care. for building I recently got a 454 big block from my uncle that i plan on building and hopefully with a little luck im able to find me a 68-69 camaro. I love these 2 models. But this Z is my starting ground.

500whp is possible at the crank, at the wheels n/a not going to happen, unless you use the juice or s/c it. Look at about 6500 for a s/c kit (vortech, procharger) Plenty of heads and cam packages will put you over 400whp.
