Wrong VIN number...Please Help?

I finally had a chance to hook the HPtuner up to my car and when I did it came back saying that my car is a 2000 camaro with a different VIN number. I have a 2002 Camaro SS LE. I had the car dyno tuned a few years back and apparently he changed the VIN. What do I need to do to get the VIN number corrected? I can't even get in to tune the car because I bought the tuner for a 2002 model year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The dealer should be able to reflash it back to stock with the correct info. But you will lose your tune.

agreed. unless your old tuner can give you your old file and reflash it.
