    1967 c10 truck

    Wiring my lq4 in my 67 truck?

    Heeellllpppppp. Im putting an LQ4 in my 67 chevy truck. I have a factory wiring harness. Im using a t56 trans. Im looking for an after market computer and help on what wires need to be hooked up and which ones can be removed. Please help.

    Doing it the hard way, You'll need a GM wiring schematic to trace wires and remove what's not needed. The years differ so it's going to depend on what year the harness is and which computer you are using, drive-by-wire or cable etc...

    Best thing to do is just call Howell, tell them exactly what you have, and they send a computer tuned and ready to go, along with a custom made harness for your application, all labeled and ready to go. Simple plug and play without the worry of electrical troubles down the road.

    Do you know if Howell has a port for pc connection and are tunable.

    Yes they use GM computers, with a custom tune. Not locked so you can do as you please.

    If you have the computer, they can just do a harness, or vice versa, or both.
