What to expect from a tune?

Im about to put longtubes and an ory, and I want to find a good place to get a tune around the dfw area.Im the kind of guy that will freak out until I get the rear o2 codes deleted, Im paranoid about having my SES light on, so I want to find a place, before I put them on,..A lot of my friends told me about a guy named "Shaner"? He uses HP tuners and he charges 300 bucks for a life time tune. I was curious if any on here has heard of him, or used him for that matter...I know of Speedtek and Extreme Horsepower also.

    Any input would help...

    Thanks

buy hp tuners and disable the rear o2s yourself.
    super easy to do.

not exactly super easy to dick around w/ a/f, shift points etc, especially after the basics

true. but as far as just disabling the rear o2 is pretty easy. as long as you take your time and are careful with it.

Yeah, Im pretty hesitant to do my own tuning...Growing up the definition of tuning for me was grabbing a screw driver and adjusting the carburetor, but thanks for the input anyways. I'm still looking, but now I'm growing impatient, because I just bought the headers and ory...

I do mail order tuning that could get you taken care of. Mail order tuning works particularly well for boltons cars too. Here is link to the mail order tuning page: http://www.tunedbyfrost.com/services2.htm

Let me know if you have any questions at all.
