Want to learn to tune myself
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me get started. I have a 95 firehawk so I need tuning software for an obd1 pcm. Which software might suit me best? I have a laptop but it is newer. The os is vista so would I need to duel boot to another os or is there something that would work with vista?I'm only able to hook up through the USB. What cables and where can I find them?I also have a mail order tune from madz28 will I be able to work from his tune or do I need a stock tune to work from?
Is there any where I can go and learn more about tuning my self?
Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Well I see this is something people don't like to answer so I went a head and ordered tunercat and got the cables from craig moates.

Good news! For a 95 Tunercat is VERY affordable and a full featured editor. Just get a scanner to do the logging and you are set. http://www.tunercat.com/tnr_desc/do_tc.html
-edit-...actually started making this reply about an hour ago and got pulled away

O I was not mad. Sorry it just came out wrong but I did get some good research done. I am going to go with tunercat. For a scan tool I found a program to install on my laptop it is called freescan and as the name implies it is free hopefully it will work for what I need it to do.
Has anyone used freescan??

Free scan is free but Datamaster is much better. You can use it for free for 20 logs.
Google TTS Datamaster.
Edit: Opps! accidentally posted under my wifes log on.
