Tuner left footprint in ECM
I’m having a ProCharger installed on my Camaro the installer is telling me that the Diablo Sport Predator I had installed left a footprint on the ECM when the stock tune was reinstalled and that this footprint is not allowing him to do the required tuning

I had a predator tune then had it dyno tuned with no issues. Did you return it to the factory tune first? Not sure if that's why, but I put my stock tune back on first

what is he using to tune with? Shouldn't matter what it was tuned with prior if he's using hptuner. Who's doing the tuning?

All I know is that he needed my Predator to reinstall the stock tune I also gave him the stock MAF. I don’t want to throw this guy under the bus as far as his capability to do the tune his shop was highly recommended I’m just a little frustrated with the time it’s taking and And hoping that someone had run in to this footprint issue before

I'm not a tuner nor have I ever used any tuning software myself, but I would think if a tuner is good, he should be able to get around anything. I know tuners can even unlock PCM's from other tuners.
Tuning is the most important thing when a car is boosted. I hope they are well versed in LS1 engines.

^^^ what he said..... again lol..... I had a hypertech tune on my car and something happened with it to where i could not swap the stock tune back in but that was no problem at all for my tuner (efialchemy.com). Like Orion said, all he had to do is upload a stock tune himself back to the car and then adjust it the way he felt was right.
