    Tuner help

I have a larry martin Lt1 Computer edit device that came with my 1996 lt1 z28. After i get my cam and heads put on, i hear it is a must to tune the engine to the changes.. is anyone familiar with these and how they work?

to get the most out of the mods, you will need to make appropriate changes.

Specifically, what are the items measured in, degrees or ml whatever...and what decides on how much more or less i need?

timing is in degrees. fuel in the VE tables are measured in percentage of efficiency, which determines fuel needs.

you and your motor decides on how much more/less you need. there's no single do it this way and you get your results. it's trial and error. add timing, see if it did better, or worse. same for fueling.

That seems simple. But im not too familiar with timing, what would make this CHANGE around my specs??Like if i get a bigger cam or heads i would need to change the fuel and air flow obviously?? But cant i screw something up this way??
