Shift lights!

So I was wondering would a shift light be that big of a help for a bolt ons car? Also how do they wire into your car? And how are they set up?

A shift light can be helpful if the car is mainly used in drag racing. This way you don"t have to be looking at the tach to know when to shift. How the light connects and is setup will depend on the brand of light you get.

Hmm just trying to figure out if it's worth the money, I'm pretty sure I bought my car with a wire ran from the PCM to my left air duct that is for a shift light, it's spliced into my tachometer signal wire, pin 10 on red connector
