Sensor resistances / voltages - can you help?
I've been searching about the place but no luck so I'm hoping you guys can help - we're installing a GTO LS1 in an off-road buggy-thing, which means no dashboard and no stock gauges, and being in the UK nowhere to get a stock gauge from (that I know of anyway).
I want to knock up something that will give a reading for oil pressure, either as a gauge or a warning light. We could just drill & tap the filter mount for a pressure switch but they usually come on so low they're more "oh sh*t" than "uh-oh".
What I need are the resistance or voltage values for the oil pressure sender so I can either match a gauge to it, or make my own. Can anyone help?
