reprograming help

Hi every one I just purchased a 1999 z28 convertible and would like to know does cam,heads,intake,exhaust and other changes I make do I need to reprogram the computer,or is this something I can do myself with a reprogramer or do I need to take it some where I live in MICHIGAN.

That's kind of a loaded question. How are you with computers and car functions? I personally think anyone can learn to tune their own car but it all depends on how much you're willing to put into it. In order to tune your own car you'll have to do quite a bit of reading to figure certain things out and by quite a bit I actually mean a whole lot. It all depends on how much time and energy you want to put into it. If you're not very good with cars and computers and don't really have the desire to learn then I'd say just have someone else tune it but if you really want to learn it the info is out there to learn this stuff on your own.
