Rear Gears.
I seen a post for 3.73
im 02 t/a bone stock ls1 A4
if i was to go to the 3.90 gear or the 4.10 gear...
- im taching 2100 at 80 how much would gears raise the rpm..
- how much would top speed suffer...not realy worried tho...
- what would the shift points do since with stock 2.73 it shifts about 5.900 would everything be fine there or would they have to get moved...
- how much would gas milage suffer
im thinking gears after i get a slp lid which is on order..
any help would be appreciated...

Personally I would stick with 3.73' unless you're building a track car. The pcm won't like those 4.10's. My buddy runs 3.90's in his a4 vette without a problem but he also can't hook the car at all on the street.

I have a 2000 TA, WS6,A4 and I installed 3.73 gears. I run about 2500 rpm's at 75 mph. The 3.73 gears works well at the track and works well if yours is a daily driver. I would stick with the 3.73's.
