    raising idle questions (ls1 m6)

sorry if this is the wrong place, wasn't sure..

so i raised my idle +200 rpm yesterday and am probably droppin it to a +100 to +150 range (from stock). as of right now the +200 puts it at 1000rpm-1100rpm idle. basically i'm wondering if theres and nasty side effects i didn't think of from a higher than stock idle (i also have a cheatr type cam and quite a few supporting mods) it sounds real nasty, just a bit loud

I haven't experimented much with this but I have read there are some side affects that would need to be addressed in the tune.

I also raised my idle in my tune. For some reason GM had it programmed to something low like 550 rpms in gear (auto) so I have mine bumped to 650 or 700 (can't remember)

But going too high can cause IAC count issues, RAF maybe??? Shucks I can't remember but something along those lines. I would have to go back and try to find more on it. Not easy finding parameters listed somewhere that need to stay in check as far as idle stuff goes.

Hopefully someone will chime in with more on this
