I am putting a cam in my car. I also have other things as well done to it and need to get the computer done on it. Looked at thunder racing. Was wondering who else does this. thanks

someone will chime in for sure but try to get someone that is close to you. its easier to tune for internal mods when the tuner is in person. every engine is different with internal mods. bolt ons can be tuned for generally easily though. heads and cam get someone as close as possible unless you can send data logs to a long distance tuner. but that requires you to have the tuning software available to you. by the way kyspeed got me hptuners and a wideband setup under 2 weeks. and im like a kid in a candy store lol.

There is no tuner at thunder anymore, Geoff Skinner has his own shop now and his email is geoff@engpwrsys.com if your still intrested, if you go through thunder they will take your pcm over to him and then have to get it back and send it to you, much easier to just deal with him directly, if you still want to go with them.

Buy the tuning software(HP Tuner Pro) with a wideband, start learning. Do an email tune with Frost, its almost like your sitting in his shop. Plus, he will teach you some stuff if you pay attention to what he is changing and make an attempt to why he is. I learned alot from my email tuning, and still go back to his emails to read them. I would recommend this email tuning to anyone who either doesn't feel they have a competent tuner in the area or no tuner at all.

    Thumbs up

    Another vote for FROST...

A few short years ago he helped me straighten out a dyno "tune" on my baby cammed SS that a local so-called tuner botched up...as well as helped tremendously with a friend's big cammed Z06. When all was said and done, both cars ran better than they did (via his email tuning help), then they ever did with their "in person" tunes done by two different people that supposedly knew what they were doing...

He should have a build sheet, for you to list all your mods, then he will tune it from that list, but it isn't as good as looking at it in person and tuning while driving but it will get it close until you can get to a tuner or learn to do it your self.
