Pulling codes and other stuff like that

i was wonderin if the Fbody has a diagnostic type mode you can go into and digitally see RPM's, speed (mph), temp, codes and other things of that nature without a handheld tuner. on my mustang you can see that information on the trip meter if you hold down the trip meter button for a few seconds before turning on the car, the new charger's have the same sort of deal (but pressing the button three times or somethin like that) and my brother's Audi TT has it through the A/C readout.

does the Fbody have something like that?

nope, GM decided to give us more cubic inches instead. just messing with ya. I'm not sure why GM didn't put it on there but after seeing how the vettes are from that time period I'm glad they didn't. More headache than it's worth.

The F-body is pretty basic in terms of extra "wow" features. We only have 1 trip odometer instead of an A and B, no HUD, no auto climate control, TCS was an option, no driver info center, no autodimming mirror, no heated seats.

I think we're better off overall. I especially hate the auto climate control in my Grand Prix. The HUD is cool though

actually... the vettes can read codes and get to some other items through their digital dash; C5s even

that's what I was saying. Many c-5 owners spend the first 5 minutes of any drive clearing codes.
