    Is the Predator Programmer able to delete codes for the SES for long tube hedders?

    The later versions will permanently turn off AIR, EGR and rear 02 codes.

    Options in tuning

    In your opinion would you buy a handheld, LS1 Edit, or just take it to a speed shop?
    Mods for my TA so far are exhaust, lid, descreened MAF, and K&N filter
    Hedders are on the way

    HEADERS (sorry it was bugging me)

    and yes the diablo can delete o2 sensors for the headers but i would wait(dont buy a hand held tuner) and get it tuned at a speed shop after you get the headers installed. you will get more out of the headers if you get a tune after they are on the car.

    Around how much does a good tune cost these days, and how much more HP will I expect to gain with the (HEADERS) and a tune? Headers are long tube pacesetters with ORY.

    i dont know about how much a good tune cost the only speed shop in my area that i know of that advertises tuning does it with a diablo(thats hella amateur) i would say 20-35 hp over stock is what people typically have with just intake and headers. (full exhaust)the higher numbers being for the 01'-02' cars with the ls6 intake.

    maybe try posting a thread in the eastern members section asking about a good tune shop?

    Find out what software the shop uses.
    LS1 and EFI software is expensive...but they give the shop access to entire PCM and each facet of software.
    If the shop goes out of business you're stuck...
    Ask for disk or cd with your stock tune and modified tune on it.

    diablosport has a complete tuning suite available to dealers/dyno tuning shops...
    It's their CMR Software... it's just like the HP Tuners, LS1edit, EFILive (etc etc) tuning suites...

    it's good because once they dyno tune your car and get everything dialed in, they can save the tune out and load it into your predator, so you can save it to your PC and always have it.

    that way, if something ever happens to your tune/PCM and you need to reload it or retune it, you won't have to pay to get it tuned again or have the tune reloaded into your car - you can just do it yourself with your predator.
