PO343 Cam Position Sensor Voltage High.
Ok, here is the story.
About a month ago the car tried to toss the crank pulley at the track. I got it 1/2 way back on, and milked it home.
The car sat for 2 weeks, then I pinned the crank, and installed a new bolt.
he battery was dead so I jumped the car, and drove it.
At this point, I got a PO343 code.
The 2nd gear is also now shot. Keep in mind, I am sure these are unrelated, and just coincidences, however, I wanted to mention everything.
I have installed a brand new cam position sensor, and the code will still not go away. I am at a loss as to what to do.
I tried to do a case relearn through HPT, but I am not sure if I am doing it right, or even if it is what needs to be done.
The car is an 04 GTO with a magnacharger.
Anyone have any ideas?
