Nitrous tune without pulling timing.
My original tuner said he'd have to pull timing to run a 125 wet shot. He said that it would decrease my everyday hp though. I recently spoke with a board member about nitrous tuning that tricks the computer without a timing tuner only a custom dyno tune. Why aren't there more people doing this? Is this somehow less safe?

You need an intermediate device like the IAT module I use. Otherwise, you are waiting on a very slow IAT sensor to transition cold to get the timing pull that you honestly need most at the time the shot is first coming in.

how much would an IAT module cost?

I don't sell them separately because they are no good without the tuning to make them work. I typically get $50 for them as they are very easy to install at dyno time and become transparent. Basically they go inline with the IAT's connector and then hook up directly to the solenoids for the nitrous. When the spray comes on the timing comes out, and you get NA timing back immediately after the N2O stops. If you have an 01-02, fueling can be adjusted just on the spray independent of your NA tune as well.

would you need this on a dry system?
