    newb tuner here

    I'm looking to get lt's and ory just fyi, but my question is: would i be able to do the necessary tuning with a hand held? I heard that the diablo sport tuner and hp tuners are great but i wouldn't know what i was doing. Is tuning the a/f ratio something anyone could do with one of those things?

    It's a little more than just clicking a few buttons to alter a/f. After headers and a tune I would suggest investing in a dyno tune, or even a mail order, from a well known tuner. Not to mention if you are getting an ORY/deleting EGR/AIR you will probably want the codes turned off for o2's/air/egr whatever and you can't do that with a handheld.

    If I were you I'd let a pro do the tune, and then pick up software like hptuners to play with and learn about in the future...
