blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
new to tuning and want to get some of the basics
hey guys..i will be getting hp tuner pro here soon for my car..a 98 trans am..and i have a question. If i want to do live tuning etc while my car is running...do i need to get a 99+ pcm ? also if i do...what do i need to do to get it to mesh with my car thanks guys.

yes, you will need to step up to a 99+ PCM. the 98 PCM just doesn't have enough capacity to handle live tuning. there is some pinout changes or an entire wiring harness change. i'm not sure which.

pretty good. i really like the victor jr setup. once i convert to the 4L80E trans, i'll get some new timeslips.
