New SCT tuner

just wondering if anyone here has tried the new SCT tunner for LS1's ... i have a guy here in town that sells em for the ford and he just told me that they have can out with one for the ls1's ... but he doesnt know about the bugs in it.... wondering if anyone has an oppinion on this tunner.

DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought one from a shop that assured me of its capabilities. All I wanted it for was to tune out the EGR/AIR and adjust for a different gear ratio. Well, they didn't know how to put a tune in it and I was unable to use it to do my own tuning because the software was not out yet. The dealer was going to email a tune to put in the devise. But the devise does not have that capability. This was one year ago and they still do not have the capabilities to tune GM cars. SCT started out with Ford, and they should stay with Ford. Horrible customer service with no communication inside there company. I was told by SCT, "You can do this with it", and another guy said, " You can't do this with that" !
I sent the tuner back to get reimbursed, and they charged me 20% restocking fee on it even though they new and admitted it was useless. Maybe one day they will get into GM cars, but don't count on it.

okay thanks .... have you found a tuner you llike yet.... i need one to tune my headers , gears and cam... along with little computer tunes

No, I have not found a tuner yet, I stopped looking for one. There is a guy in Pa that charges $250 to do all of that. I would search the threads to find the most popular tuner.
