No I bought a re-flashed ecu and I got the ckp code or p1336, I had the guy take the light off but I still would need to re-learn it he said. But I do plan on getting hp or something in the near future.

The procedure is in the gearchatter link in your other thread. You need something like HPT or a scan tool. If you don't know of any tuning shops nearby the dealership can do it for you, don't know how much they'd charge - guessing their 1 hour minimum.

yeah, I tried the gearchatter how to, but the damn light wouldn't go out. I had them re-flash it so the light wouldn't come on but it would still need to be re set. So if I bought the HP tuner I could do this myself and do the performance settings?

I'll probably go that route then, I just wanted to start with removing all the emissions crap for the headers, I plan on more mods so I guess the HP would be the way to go. Do you guys know if the HP would work on GM 3800 series as well.

Just checked the link and it does, but I think you can only tune one or the other not a v8 and a v6

No, you will do both. When I ordered mine, I got 8 credits, 2 per vehicle... No matter what the car was. You can also email your tune to me ( for example ) and I can read it, mod it, and send it back !

Ok I must have mis-read, That works out good because I'm getting ready to turbo my grand prix, and I'm doing a few things to the camaro.
