    new cam and gears need tune?

    have a 01 SS and putting 410s and a GMPP cam PN 12565308 (02 LS6 cam) and a LQ4 80mm TB, currently have SLP lid and magnaflow exhaust with QTP cutout, do I need a tune and whats best method?

    yes, you will need a tune, because of the cam. best method is self tuning. big learning curve with it. next best is a reputable tuner. third would be a handheld.
    Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

    Yeah, if you don't plan on having any more mods take it to a reputable dyno tuner and let them tune it out for you. Otherwise, bite the bullet and get yourself a tuning package like HPTuner Pro and start to open yourself up to any and every upgrade out there because you'll be able to tune it as needed whenever you want.
