    Need Tune

Ok, so I did my LTs and full exhaust and its all done but when I get on it it hiccups and backfires a bit. Is this only because its running rich and I need a tune or could it be something more?

I used NGK TR-55s and MSD plug wires.

does it do it when your on the gas pedal or lifting off the pedal? if it does it when you lift off the pedal and just makes a little pop pop once in a while that could just be a little back pressure. mine did that with even the stock exhaust. if its a backfire when your foot is in it ya might want to double check your plug wires and make sure there aren't any getting burnt by the headers.

Check those plug wires and your O2 wires. Did you do home made extensions or did you buy extensions?

I bought extensions. I have both the front and rear 02s and sims on the rear.

I would spend some time checking those plug wires then and make sure they all snapped into place. Last time I dealt with a backfiring car was my buddies vette. Bad plug wire.

Checked all the wires. That damn #8 wasnt clicked in into the coil-pack. Lets hope that was the issue. I'll have to test drive it in the morning.

If it wasnt on all the way, 99/100 says that was your problem.

Seems like it might of helped but theres still a little bit of a hiccup or stutter going through the RPMs.

I would think it's the tune if it's not the plugs/wires but Brandon did say he had problems with his MSD wires... See ya in a little bit budday!
