My dyno numbers.
Basically my mods are, SS400, full exhaust, LS6 intake, and a 230/230.
I put down 336rwhp with cutout opened and 328rwhp with cut out closed.
I forget the TQ numbers off hand, but they were just a tich lower like 318.
It was tuned on a Mustang dyno. Any idea what this converts to? 390ish on dynojet? 500 crank hp?

TRIPLE BLACK- 2000 CAMARO SS M6 #2100
are you being serious with those dynojet and crank numbers?

Yep, the guy that owns the shop has a turbo 2V and puts down very low 400s and runs 10s.
It's a conservative dyno.
Everyone i talk to doesn't seem to know the conversion numbers cuz there really isn't any exact numbers or percentage. It depends on the tuner, if he wants to impress you or not.
All I know is that I'll be in the 11s.Last edited by allbaugh_04; 05-17-2010 at 11:25 AM.

Ok, I still think that 54hp difference is a lot and 500 crank hp is pretty high as well. If those were the case then those mustang dyno numbers are waaaayyyyyy wrong, lol. They seemed pretty low when I first read this. This is what I hate about dyno numbers, there needs to be a set type and calibration equation so there are not huge differences like this would be. Makes no sense to me, there should not be a 54hp difference between a mustang and dynojet.

with 500 crank you would be putting down 420ish to the floor or for shits and giggles with a 20% loss you would be putting down 400 to the floor
they say there is up to a 13% difference between the md and dj ...however the md is considered to be more of a true readingLast edited by shady milkman; 05-17-2010 at 11:37 AM.

Hmm IC.
Another guy I know has similar mods to me, even a 230/230 cam, but higher LSA and lower lift. Not sure if he has headers yet though.
He made 320rwhp.
I thought it was cool to see the cutout actually did add HP.
Before the cam and cutout I made 334/340 on a dynojet.

Screw the numbers Tim. Run that thing at the track and let the auto/4000 eat!
If it run's 13.3 then your numbers you have might mean something

Only thing I've ridden in that pulls harder is Clint195's cammed Z06.
A friend of mine has a Viper that puts down 440rwhp I think. He wants to race this week.
Still haven't made it to the track, supposed to get a call tomorrow about a job though.

numbers arent low for a mustang dyno id say on a dynojet you would prolly make 350-370 but like hi po said those numbers dont matter its ET that matters. with numbers you also gotta take into account that your a stalled auto which will decrease your numbers but increase your performance. on a dynojet mine made 564rwhp but on a more accurate MD it made 501rwhp the only reason i even got it done on both is bc i was unhappy with the tune by the guy that used the dyno jet so i went to another shop which used a MD

ehhh.....maybe a LITTLE low, but with an a4 its not too bad. if it was an m6 putting that down id say something was wrong

I put down 330rwhp and 342rwtq on a MD with LTs, Exhaust, and a lid through a 9" and run low 13's with a decent 60' time for using Nitto's of 1.906.
I'd guess if I were to drive my M6 perfect, I MIGHT be able to achieve 12.7/12.8. That's getting my launch down to 1.8X.
Good luck Tim.

My roommate has the same cam and almost the same mods. He's run a 7.5 in the 1/8th and I've beaten him 3x now.
The car is getting fixed cuz I lost 3rd and 4th gear.
As soon as it does, I will race a Viper that has head work, lts, and other unknown mods 430hp/490tq. (dynojet)Last edited by allbaugh_04; 06-01-2010 at 09:24 AM.

What was your A/F readout?

The charts are in the car. I believe it was like 11.9-12.0, but that's just off the top of my head.
It pulls so much better. So happy I decided to put the cam in.

13.0-13.1 is ideal so hopefully your memory is wrong
