    Misfire code

If the torque converter does not lock up at highway speeds will it throw a misfire code? I had a p0300 code come in this morning.

I dont think so. How could this be?

First, check your plug wires, make sure they are fully pushed on. Sometimes they look like they a fully pushed on, but its not. Check both ends.

I actually, got a misfire due to a broken valve spring. So, after the plug wire check, remove the valve covers and check your valve train.
