    LSxTune.com experience

I ordered a mail order tune from Frost and LSxTune about a week ago. First, when I called to speak to Frost he was real informative and explained quite a few things that would be done to my pcm. Frost explained everything from removing my pcm to what I should expect with my mods. Well I sent the pcm out and had it back in three days.
I have not put it on a dyno but my Z feels much more powerful. The uneasy idle after I installed my Lt's is gone as well as the ses light and others (deleted cats/air/rear o2). I am very pleased with the results and I would recommend anyone who is thinking of having a mail order tune to contact Frost.

Does your car get emissions tested? When you delete items from the ECU does anyone know if it will pass the plug in type emissions test? They don't actually check emissions levels just the ecu.

I'm in washington and for all OBD11 if the check engine lights off and it passes for no codes than it passes emissions, when I lived in cali. they plug it into the port and put the sniffer in the exhaust.

That's correct, they plug into the port and check for codes and pending codes. What I'm wondering is like when people turn off certain inputs or adjust parameters for O2 does that stuff get flagged or picked up by the test.

No, not on obd test only.
    No codes = pass

Near me, half the time they don't even plug their machine into the port.
    They "bulb-check" it.
Turn key ON, SES light ON, start car, SES light OFF, pass.....

Amen to that. Fast service, extremely honest, and even called to see why FEDEX left the box for my PCM outside of my apartment without having anyone sign for it! Definately worth the $$$
