i bought a power control module(pcm) from jet chip for my 99 camaro ss but havent installed it wanted to know if anyone has one and does it work and what kind of hp gains can i get if it even works should of asked before i bought it but o well

Mail order tunes are only $125 with a 24hr turn around. I can tailor a mail order tune closer to your needs than the "one size fits all" tune that you get from the Jet module.

just what can you do with a mail order tune? say i wanted to step it up, but keep driving her everyday without trouble.

Things you can do include but are not limited too: change shift firmness on automatics, remove skip-shift from manual trannies, adjust fan temps, adjust for rear O2 deletion from headers/ORY, Adjust WOT fueling and spark curves for more HP, etc...

can you still get more power out of a car with adjusting fuel and spark curves even if its a stock car

Some, but I've never tuned a 100% stock car before to try, most have at least a lid and a catback. If you don't have those, I'd say get them first.

Just trying to do what I think is reasonable and stay quite competetive. Without the overhead of a shop I can work much more reasonably than many.

i actully do have a slp lid and a borla catback but thats all as far the motor goes

Just trying to do what I think is reasonable and stay quite competetive. Without the overhead of a shop I can work much more reasonably than many.
